Influencer Choi Hye-sun has apologized for sharing the video of the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster as it is.
On the 31st, Choi Hye-sun posted an apology on her social media, saying, "I was really thoughtless. I sincerely apologize to everyone who was hurt."
Earlier, Choi Hye-sun shared a video of the accident along with a message saying, "I pray for the souls of the deceased" to commemorate the Jeju Air passenger plane disaster. Internet users pointed out that sharing the tragic scene as it is was inappropriate and urged her to exercise restraint.
According to the fire authorities, at 9:03 AM on the 29th, a Jeju Air passenger plane with 181 people on board, flying from Bangkok to Muan, encountered an accident during its landing process at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do. There were 175 passengers and 6 crew members on board, with 175 passengers and 4 crew members reported dead, and 2 survivors (crew members) accounted for.
Flight 7C2216 of Jeju Air attempted to land on the runway of Muan Airport without its landing gear deployed, resulting in a collision with the outer wall, causing most of the aircraft to be engulfed in flames.
As a result, the government has declared a mourning period until January 4 of next year. Consequently, many events in the entertainment industry are being canceled or postponed.
Choi Hye-sun gained recognition by appearing in 'Solo Hell 3', 'Blood Game 3', and others.
