Actress Jeon So-min brought great laughter in ‘Running Man’, which she appeared in after a year.
The SBS variety show ‘Running Man’, aired on the 19th, recorded a target audience rating of 2.4% (Nielsen Korea, metropolitan area, household standard), maintaining its position as the number one variety show in its time slot, with a peak rating of 6.4%.
The episode featured a race titled ‘Sorry for the Team Kill’, with guests including actress Jeon So-min, Choi Daniel, judoka Kim Ha-yoon, and weightlifter Park Hye-jung. With many familiar faces gathered, attention was focused on Jeon So-min, who made her guest appearance after 1 year and 2 months.
Haha expressed a warm welcome, saying, “Sobali must roll to taste good,” while the ‘NEW youngest’ Jiyoung hugged Jeon So-min, whom she met for the first time. Yang Se-chan, a fellow member of ‘Running Man’, said, “It’s been a while, slate it, Jeon Sobari,” to which Jeon So-min replied, “But why do you look so ugly?” showcasing her signature playful attitude.
In this race, Yoo Jae-suk served as the MC, and the teams were divided into two groups of 5 for a competition. The first mission was a ‘Physical Quiz’, where they had to shout out the answer while holding a weight-laden gym equipment. If they couldn’t bear the weight, a cream bomb would be launched at the same team member. Yang Se-chan, considering Jeon So-min and Choi Daniel, whom he was filming a drama with, suggested, “I’ll team up with Jiyoung.” Hearing this, Jeon So-min expressed her jealousy, saying, “Do you really like her? I saw you treating Jiyoung really well on the show.”
As Yang Se-chan continued to take care of Jiyoung, Jeon So-min exploded with “I’m disappointed. Do you love her?” causing laughter, and while getting hit with cream because of Jiyoung, she pointed out, “Why are you so weak, why are you so fragile?” bringing continuous laughter.
In the second mission, ‘Bump Slide’, a match between Yoo Jae-suk and Park Hye-jung took place. Park Hye-jung, with her strong physicality, kicked Yoo Jae-suk upwards, and the members praised Park Hye-jung’s unexpected dropkick and her sense of variety.
As a result of the race, the victory went to the Jong-kook team, and the final penalty was given to everyone except Yoo Jae-suk, Kim Ha-yoon, and Park Hye-jung, who received a water bomb penalty. After receiving the penalty, Jeon So-min expressed her regret, saying, “It was so much fun, but time flies so fast.”
