Lee Min-ho has overcome numerous adverse conditions to succeed in a secret mission that was nearly impossible.

In the episode of tvN's weekend drama "Ask the Stars" (written by Seo Suk-hyang, directed by Park Shin-woo) that aired on the 19th, space tourist Gong-ryong (played by Lee Min-ho) completed the artificial insemination mission that everyone deemed impossible with the help of astronauts, providing a thrilling catharsis.

Earlier, Gong-ryong was holding his breath and watching the situation as Eve Kim (played by Gong Hyo-jin) discovered the human embryo cells created by Kang Kang-soo (played by Oh Jung-se). Kang Kang-soo, who conducted unauthorized experiments, was stripped of his qualifications in front of all the astronauts, and the embryo cells he created were disposed of at the decision of Eve Kim.

Knowing the heart of his mother Na Min-jeong (played by Baek Eun-hye), who was anxiously waiting for the morula on Earth, Gong-ryong tried to persuade Eve Kim, but she firmly refused. Unlike Earth, space is filled with unidentified energy, so it was uncertain what dangers the embryo cells created here might pose. Both Gong-ryong and Kang Kang-soo fell into deep despair as they felt they could no longer face Na Min-jeong and their families on Earth.

Determined not to give up, Gong-ryong decided to attempt artificial insemination once again using the retrieved cells. However, it was anticipated to be a difficult process as Eve Kim had taken away the necessary tools for artificial insemination to prevent unauthorized experiments.

In response, Gong-ryong sought a partner to assist with the artificial insemination and proposed a deal to the astronauts. Knowing that Mina Lee (played by Lee Cho-hee) had Kang Kang-soo's winning lottery ticket, he asked for her help in exchange for turning a blind eye to it. Astronaut Santi (played by Alex Hafner), who had deformed sperm similar to Na Min-jeong's husband, and space scientist Lee Seung-jun (played by Heo Nam-jun) also joined in, adding to the support.

With partners secured to alleviate the handicap of weightlessness, Gong-ryong, wearing a space suit that made it difficult to move due to the lack of joints, attempted artificial insemination with his bare hands without a microscope or instruments, making everyone tense. Since even a slight mistake could significantly reduce the chances of success, Gong-ryong and the astronauts held their breath and focused, and finally, Gong-ryong succeeded in the artificial insemination, causing everyone to cheer.

At the same time, Eve Kim, knowing that the sounds exchanged by the mice were signals of temptation, searched for Gong-ryong to witness the situation together. Just then, Gong-ryong, who had just completed the artificial insemination, followed Eve Kim to observe the mice. The joy on Eve Kim's face as she watched the moment she had long dreamed of was evident, and a satisfied smile appeared on Gong-ryong's face as he looked at her.

As the distance between the mice gradually closed, Eve Kim made an unexpected bold statement that surprised Gong-ryong. It left viewers wondering whether Eve Kim's words referred to the mice passionately courting each other or were another signal directed at Gong-ryong, culminating in a gaze exchange between the two as the sixth episode of "Ask the Stars" came to an end.

The seventh episode of tvN's weekend drama "Ask the Stars" will air on the 25th at 9:20 PM.
