Lee Kwang-soo and Do Kyung-soo aim to please SEVENTEEN's taste buds at their cafeteria.
In the episode airing on the 16th, tvN's “Where Beans are Planted, Beans Grow; When You Eat Rice, You Gain Strength” (directed by Na Young-seok, Ha Mu-seong, Lee Young-kyung) (hereafter referred to as 'Kong Kong Bap Bap'), SEVENTEEN's Hoshi, Wonwoo, and Woozi will taste a special fusion menu during a surprise visit to Lee Kwang-soo and Do Kyung-soo's cafeteria.
After successfully serving lunch, Lee Kwang-soo and Do Kyung-soo present a doenjang jjigae that they have never tried before for dinner. This doenjang jjigae, which originated from an offhand idea thrown out by manager Lee Kwang-soo, becomes another challenge for Do Kyung-soo. His words, “I don’t know what kind of food will come out,” increase curiosity about the mysterious doenjang jjigae.
As the dinner menu was being prepared with Do Kyung-soo's special doenjang jjigae leading the way, an unexpected and delightful guest, SEVENTEEN, appears, surprising Lee Kwang-soo and Do Kyung-soo. SEVENTEEN tilts their heads at the unfamiliar dish name, leaving a peculiar comment that it feels like “gamjatang style,” raising curiosity about whether the special doenjang jjigae will capture SEVENTEEN's taste.
Judging that they are short-handed, Lee Kwang-soo and Do Kyung-soo voluntarily begin recruiting help. Lee Kwang-soo contacts Kim Woo-bin to make a direct call for assistance, but Kim Woo-bin responds, “It seems like Kyung-soo would have been the only one struggling anyway,” sharply catching on to the cafeteria's situation and showing a lukewarm reaction. Attention is focused on whether Lee Kwang-soo and Do Kyung-soo can recruit Kim Woo-bin.
Meanwhile, on this day, Lee Kwang-soo provides a service by personally delivering snacks to the staff, promoting the dinner menu and pouring his passion into marketing the cafeteria. As a result, the cafeteria was reportedly full, raising expectations for the dinner service.
The tvN show “Where Beans are Planted, Beans Grow; When You Eat Rice, You Gain Strength,” completed with the passion of manager Lee Kwang-soo and the cooking skills of head chef Do Kyung-soo, will air on the 16th at 8:40 PM, with the full version released on YouTube's 'Channel 15 Ya' on Friday, the 17th at 6 PM.
