The production team of KBS Joy's drama ‘Today, I’m Sorry’ (directed by Min Ji-young, written by Jo Yu-jin and Choi Ryong) has released stills of Jeon So-min (playing Ji-song) and Choi Daniel (playing Cha Hyun-woo) encountering an assailant in the middle of the night, raising tension.
The released photos capture an unexpected affectionate (?) couple shot of the single mother Ji-song and divorce lawyer Cha Hyun-woo strolling together at night.
From their disastrous first meeting due to a prickly divorce consultation to fighting over a toy car parking issue, and getting involved in a ridiculous brawl where hair is pulled, the two, who are ‘natural enemies’ that never seem to have a peaceful encounter, find it puzzling why they are out for a walk together in the middle of the night.
In the midst of this, the two come face to face with an assailant whose face is covered by a black hat and mask. Following this, it seems they are suddenly attacked, and both fall to the ground, with a terrified Ji-song being protected by Hyun-woo.
Amid various speculations about the assailant's identity—whether it is the grudge of someone hurt by Hyun-woo's prickly divorce consultation or perhaps the instigation of Ji-song's ex-husband who still holds a grudge—viewers are left wondering if the two can overcome this crisis, raising curiosity for the upcoming fifth episode this week.
The production team stated, “This episode will be a significant turning point in the story as Ji-song and Hyun-woo experience a shared crisis that leads to changes in their feelings for each other,” and added, “We ask for your interest and affection for the unpredictable relationship between these two characters, who are fatefully entangled in incidents and accidents every episode.”
The fifth episode of ‘Today, I’m Sorry’ will air on the 9th at 9 PM on KBS Joy.
