In ‘Study Group’, Hwang Min-hyun unleashes his hidden martial arts skills.
The team behind the Tving original ‘Study Group’ (directed by Lee Jang-hoon and Yoo Beom-sang, written by Um Seon-ho and Oh Bo-hyun, planned by Studio Dragon, produced by Wylap Flex, provided by Tving) released a poster and teaser trailer on the 6th that heightens anticipation for Yoon Ga-min (played by Hwang Min-hyun) forming a spectacular study group, titled ‘Himsumjin’ (a nerd hiding his strength).
‘Study Group’ is based on a popular webtoon of the same name (written by Shin Hyung-wook, illustrated by Yoo Seung-yeon, produced by Wylap), and it is a comedic high school action story about Yoon Ga-min, who wants to study well but has all his talent focused on fighting, as he dives into a bloody entrance exam at the worst school and forms a study group. The story features Yoon Ga-min, who chooses to fight to study, and the students with their own stories trying to protect the study group, promising a cathartic experience with thrilling action.
As attention focuses on Hwang Min-hyun's fiery transformation, the released ‘Himsumjin’ poster ignites excitement. Yoon Ga-min is seen breaking pencils flying from all directions. Yoon Ga-min unleashes his hidden strength solely for studying, unexpectedly conquering Yuseong Technical High School, which is thrilling to watch.
