In the Comedy TV variety show ‘THE Delicious Guys’ airing at 8 PM on the 5th, a special feature titled ‘Jeju is ruled by the Delicious Guys’ will showcase a mukbang featuring patterned squid, fan shrimp, and Jeju silver cutlassfish.
As Kim Jun-hyun, Moon Se-yoon, Hwang Je-seong, and Kim Hae-jun return to their accommodation late in the evening to kick off their year-end party, they become curious about a singing voice they hear from somewhere, and are surprised to find out that the voice belongs to Professor Kim Chang-ok.
Currently living in Jeju, Professor Kim Chang-ok rushes over with patterned squid and fan shrimp he personally sourced from the seafood market, along with tangerines picked from his home, upon hearing that the members of ‘THE Delicious Guys’ are visiting Jeju.
The members decide to hold a year-end party with the seafood brought by Professor Kim Chang-ok.
Soon, a lavish spread is laid out with patterned squid, fan shrimp, chicken, and kimbap, and as the members taste each dish, they express their admiration for the fresh flavors of Jeju. In the midst of this, a cheerful Kim Hae-jun even rewrites lyrics and performs a musical number, while Hwang Je-seong remarks, “Kim Hae-jun should be nervous. There’s someone aiming for his spot. That person majored in vocal music,” creating a competitive atmosphere between Professor Kim Chang-ok and Kim Hae-jun.
In response, Professor Kim Chang-ok showcases his singing ability with perfect eye contact and a surprising song choice that turns the filming set upside down.
