The Wave X JTBC entertainment show ‘Love Siblings’ is a family-intervention dating reality program where siblings come together to find each other's partners. It premiered in April and concluded with 16 episodes.
The ‘2024 FUNdex Awards’ is an event that selects the best TV-OTT works and performers based 100% on data, without a separate judging panel. The selection of award winners is determined through popularity, search responses (portal search volume), and FUNdex (fun intensity index).
During its airing period, ‘Love Siblings’ achieved first place in the TV-OTT integrated non-drama popularity survey four times, and the final episode garnered its highest popularity score, concluding with a flourish. Additionally, during the final week, a remarkable nine cast members ranked in the TOP 20 for non-drama performer popularity, proving its hot topic status.
At the awards ceremony, producer Lee Jin-joo expressed, “Whenever I had doubts about whether I was doing well, I gained confidence by looking at the weekly popularity index. I am grateful for the creation of these new standards and metrics.”
Also, cast members Kim Ji-won, Park Jae-hyung, and Lee Yong-woo were nominated in the TV Season/Mini Entertainment Performer category, with Park Jae-hyung ultimately taking home the award. During the airing period, he was the first cast member of ‘Love Siblings’ to reach first place in non-drama performer popularity.
