The golden lineup of the Eagle Brothers has been revealed in "Please Take Care of the Eagle Brothers," which will invigorate KBS's weekend drama.
Set to premiere in February next year, KBS2's new weekend drama "Please Take Care of the Eagle Brothers" (directed by Choi Sang-yeol, written by Koo Hyeon-sook) is a well-crafted family drama about the unique Eagle Brothers of the long-standing "Eagle Brewery" and the eldest brother's wife, who becomes the head of the family just ten days after her husband's sudden death.
With the earlier announcement of the lead lineup featuring actors Uhm Ji-won and Ahn Jae-wook raising expectations, the addition of Lee Pil-mo, Choi Dae-cheol, Kim Dong-wan, Yoon Park, and Lee Seok-ki has further solidified the strength of the Eagle Brothers ensemble.
Lee Pil-mo plays the eldest son, Oh Jang-soo, who is kind, diligent, and honest. He has a clear opinion and determination when it comes to making alcohol, adhering strictly to principles. Jang-soo, who has been supporting the brewery and his younger brothers, finally meets his fateful partner, Ma Gwang-sook (played by Uhm Ji-won), and gets married after a long wait. It raises curiosity about how Lee Pil-mo and Uhm Ji-won will create fresh episodes together.
Choi Dae-cheol portrays the second brother, Oh Cheon-soo. Cheon-soo is a man of few words and has difficulty expressing his inner feelings. Ten years ago, when his daughter Young-joo went abroad for early studies, his wife left with her, leading him to live a "geese" life. As the head of the family, Cheon-soo is shocked by unexpected news from his wife. Expectations are high for Choi Dae-cheol's performance as he brings his unique personality to the tumultuous life of Cheon-soo.
Kim Dong-wan plays the third brother, Oh Heung-soo. He is lively, warm-hearted, and has a charming personality. Known for his quick wit, he is popular with women and spends money as fast as he earns it, embodying a carefree lifestyle. He finds his greatest happiness in dancing but was fired while making a name for himself as a backup dancer. Currently, he teaches broadcast dance and Zumba at a cultural center. Attention is focused on Kim Dong-wan's performance as he embodies the stylish and charismatic character of Heung-soo.
Yoon Park plays the blue-chip of the "Eagle Brewery," Oh Beom-soo, who is expected to uplift the family. Beom-soo is the epitome of a model student, handsome and articulate, with a perfect demeanor. He is rational, logical, cool-headed, and has a strong sense of pride. After receiving a full scholarship to Stanford University in the U.S., Beom-soo returns home as a professor at a prestigious private university in Seoul. However, just as he is on the rise, unexpected circumstances unfold, adding tension to the drama.
The youngest brother, Oh Gang-soo, is played by Lee Seok-ki. Gang-soo is warm, neat, and polite, with a well-rounded personality. He served as a UDT special forces non-commissioned officer, appearing as a natural soldier in uniform, but reveals a cute and charming side when dressed casually. Viewers are curious to see how he will captivate the audience with his diverse portrayal in this work, marking his first appearance in a weekend drama.
The production team of "Please Take Care of the Eagle Brothers" stated, "The Eagle Brothers, each with their own stories, come together around Ma Gwang-sook. Their tumultuous life stories will enrich the drama and provide entertainment," adding, "Please look forward to the diverse acting performances of Lee Pil-mo, Choi Dae-cheol, Kim Dong-wan, Yoon Park, and Lee Seok-ki."
"Please Take Care of the Eagle Brothers" is a follow-up to "Ironing Family" and is set to premiere in February 2025.
