Oh Ye-joo shared her thoughts on her appearance in ‘Because My Soles Are Hot’.
On the afternoon of the 10th, an online press conference for KBS2’s ‘Because My Soles Are Hot: Drama Special 2024’ (hereafter referred to as ‘Because My Soles Are Hot’) was held. The event was pre-recorded, and director Lee Jin-ah along with actors Oh Ye-joo and Kim Kang-min attended.
Oh Ye-joo, who plays the role of Ha-neul, said, “I needed to study about depression. I prepared for the character by watching the books and movies recommended by the director.”
She continued, “Ha-neul tries very hard to initiate conversations with her unresponsive sister. Although they are together, I felt like they weren’t really together. At first, it was difficult to act because I felt like I was speaking alone. Later, I got used to talking to myself. I felt both the struggle and joy at the same time.”
‘Because My Soles Are Hot’, which will conclude the ‘KBS Drama Special 2024’, is a human story about a high school girl, Ha-neul, who has a reclusive sister and begins a plan to help her sister escape from her room. It is scheduled to air at 10:50 PM that evening.
