Lee Ji-hyun, a former member of ‘Jewelry’ who is in her fifth year post-divorce, shares realistic advice with couples facing divorce crises.
Tonight (5th), on JTBC’s ‘Divorce Contemplation Camp’, customized counseling for the sixth group of couples and group counseling to realistically consider divorce will take place.
In this episode, Lee Ji-hyun, a former girl group member who has experienced divorce, and Kim Hyun-tae, a former broadcaster who has worked as a terrestrial announcer for 33 years and is now a freelance announcer, will visit couples in crisis. They will share their experiences of the divorce process and life after divorce, offering advice and counsel. In particular, Lee Ji-hyun will tell the wives, “Don’t even dream of remarrying,” revealing the harsh realities they face.
The ‘Instinct Couple’, who have never planned to have a child, will receive tailored solutions through a consultation with obstetrician Park Hye-seong. Dr. Park will point out the risks of frequent childbirth while preparing a special solution for the husband, who takes pregnancy and childbirth lightly. The husband is taken aback by the unexpected special solution introduced for the first time in ‘Divorce Contemplation Camp’, but the wife reportedly wanted a stronger solution, saying, “This is still not enough.” It raises curiosity about what the special solution is and whether the husband will come to appreciate the importance of pregnancy and childbirth and empathize with his wife’s struggles.
Meanwhile, the ‘Debt Couple’, who are struggling with financial issues, will meet with counselor Lee Ho-seon. During the consultation, the wife confesses to hidden debts after being told by counselor Lee that she shouldn’t deceive her husband after coming this far. Upon learning this, the husband feels deeply betrayed by his wife’s repeated lies. Despite the wife’s apology, the husband responds, “It doesn’t feel sincere,” and adds, “I think we need to seriously consider this,” indicating that their path to a solution will not be easy.
On the other hand, the sixth group of couples will take time to reflect on their lives and marriages by writing and reading their last letters, which will be a unique solution called ‘group counseling’ conducted for the first time in the camp. Attention is drawn to what the ‘most precious thing’ is that the sixth group of couples realizes as they face ‘the last moments of life’.
The unique solution process for the sixth group of couples, conducted for the first time in the camp, can be seen tonight (5th) at 10:10 PM on JTBC’s ‘Divorce Contemplation Camp’.
