The company responsible for producing the music video for the group Fantasy Boys has sparked controversy by claiming that it has not received the remaining production costs.

On the 25th, the music video production company 815 Video stated in an official statement, "Last April, we were commissioned by Pocketdol Studio to produce the music video for Fantasy Boys' 'She Smiles at Me.' The total service fee was 165 million won, and after receiving a deposit of 71.5 million won and an additional payment of 15 million won, we have not received the remaining payment of 78.5 million won to date."

Accordingly, 815 Video filed a lawsuit against Pocketdol Studio for payment in April of last year and claims to have received a favorable ruling from the court in July.

The company asserts that Pocketdol Studio has not fulfilled the payment obligation even after the court's ruling. They emphasized, "As a result, we are suffering serious damage, including being unable to pay the remaining amounts to our partner companies involved in the production."

Additionally, the company demanded that Pocketdol Studio "promptly pay the remaining production costs."

In relation to this, Pocketdol Studio has not issued any particular statement.

'She Smiles at Me' is the title track of Fantasy Boys' third mini-album 'MAKE SUNSHINE,' released in May of last year.

The music video for the song was produced with a school setting, showcasing the fresh appearance of Fantasy Boys members in school uniforms to convey a refreshing vibe.

Meanwhile, Fantasy Boys is a group under Pocketdol Studio that debuted in September 2023 through the MBC audition program 'Boys Fantasy - After School Excitement Season 2.' It is a multinational group consisting of Kang Min-seo, Lee Han-bin, Hikari (Japan), Ling Chi (China), Hikaru (Japan), Kim Woo-seok, Hong Sung-min, Oh Hyun-tae, Kim Gyu-rae, and K-Dan (Malaysia).
