The radio appearance of Song Kang-ho and Park Jung-min from the movie ‘Victory’ on ‘Park Ha-sun’s Cinetown’ has been canceled.
On the morning of the 4th, Song Kang-ho and Park Jung-min, who starred in the movie ‘Victory’, were scheduled to appear as guests on SBS Power FM’s ‘Park Ha-sun’s Cinetown’ (hereafter ‘Cinetown’). However, their appearance was canceled due to the sudden declaration of martial law the night before.
DJ Park Ha-sun stated on the radio that day, “Today’s Cinetown special was announced. However, it has unfortunately been canceled. I ask for your understanding,” and added, “There are many times when reality is more cinematic than movies, but I hope this ends like a real movie.”
The movie ‘Victory’ (directed by Shin Yeon-sik), which was released on the 4th, tells the story of a professional women’s volleyball team that has never won, with a coach who has never won, an owner who has no intention of winning, and players who don’t know how to win, as they challenge themselves for a single victory.
Meanwhile, President Yoon Suk-yeol declared martial law on the 3rd at around 10:24 PM, stating, “This is to eradicate the pro-North Korea anti-state forces all at once and to protect the free constitutional order.”
In response, the National Assembly held a plenary session around 1 AM on the 4th and passed a resolution demanding the lifting of martial law, and President Yoon stated, “I accept the National Assembly’s request and humbly accept the will of the people,” lifting the martial law just six hours later.
