Shuhua, a member of the group (G)I-DLE, has been appointed as the ambassador for Taoyuan City, Taiwan.
Recently, Shuhua was selected as the ambassador for her hometown, Taoyuan City, and conducted promotional shoots at various attractions in Taoyuan, including Daxi Old Street, Xiao Wulai Sky Rope Bridge, and Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center.
Shuhua expressed her feelings, saying, "I am really happy and honored to be appointed as the ambassador for my hometown, Taoyuan." She added, "I grew up in Pugang, Taoyuan since I was a child. It is a very simple and warm place with clear air and tranquility, so I hope many people will visit Taoyuan and Pugang."
For this ambassador activity, Shuhua worked with a Korean filming team for two days to shoot tourism advertisements around Taoyuan. During the filming, Shuhua personally selected the 'Shuhua style' attractions that impressed her the most.
Shuhua stated, "I usually have a lot of overseas schedules, so I could only stay in my hometown for a short time. This time, while filming as the ambassador for Taoyuan, I was able to experience many attractions anew." She added, "The vintage charm of Daxi Old Street, the natural scenery of Xiao Wulai Sky Rope Bridge, and the brutalist architectural design and emotions of Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center were all impressive. I also tasted a lot of my favorite Taoyuan food."
The Taoyuan City Tourism Bureau said, "We are very honored to have Shuhua from Taoyuan with us. Shuhua shared her love for her hometown, Pugang, and vividly introduced everything from the majestic natural scenery of Xiao Wulai Skywalk to the diverse local food of Taoyuan."
