The Korea Music Copyright Association (President Chuga Yeol, hereinafter referred to as the Music Copyright Association) announced that it will revamp its psychological counseling services into customized free psychological tests, counseling, and healing programs starting September 1, 2025, to protect the mental health of its members and support their creative activities.
This project is being conducted in collaboration with the Yonsei University Medical Center's Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation, and is available to full members and associate members who have accumulated royalties of over 20 million won. Participants can take a basic psychological test and, if necessary, choose from various programs such as in-depth psychological tests, one-on-one online counseling, brainwave and LED care, and support for healing books.
In particular, based on the test results, the program will provide a 'Mind Album' that allows individuals to reflect on their emotions and memories, as well as personalized programs using psychological materials tailored for music artists, contributing to enhancing members' psychological resilience and self-management skills.
A representative from the Music Copyright Association stated, "The purpose is to help creators alleviate the anxiety and psychological burdens they feel and focus on their artistic activities," adding, "We will provide opportunities for members to maintain their mental health for free through tests, counseling, and healing programs."
Meanwhile, the Music Copyright Association has not only limited its support to psychological counseling services but has also established a welfare space where members can comprehensively manage their health. On the second floor of the headquarters member center located in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, various equipment such as body composition and shape analyzers, skin diagnostic devices, and stress measurement devices are available, allowing any member to easily check their health status for free.
President Chuga Yeol stated, "Mental and physical health is an important foundation for creative activities," and added, "We will continue to strengthen member welfare to create an environment where they can create with peace of mind."
