
Influencer Kim Ji-hye, formerly of the group Cats, shared the situation after giving birth to twins.
On the 11th, Kim Ji-hye revealed on her Instagram, "I am okay, but both babies are in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), not breathing, and unable to take formula, so they are being fed nutrients through IV."
She added, "I ask for many prayers so they can get healthy."
Kim Ji-hye continued, "I am unable to respond to DMs from acquaintances and friends on Instagram," and said, "I am out of my mind because of the kids, but I will quickly gather my mental strength."
Earlier, her husband, actor and singer Choi Seong-wook, who is from the group Paran, announced, "On September 8, our baby Baekho Yoron finally saw the light of the world," and shared, "Currently, our children are in the neonatal intensive care unit, and while they may be a bit scared and lonely, they are enduring well by relying on each other."
He mentioned, "My wife needs to focus on recovery, but every time I see the kids, I cry too much, so I am comforting her every day," and added, "I will greet everyone with my wife and kids in good health as soon as possible."
Kim Ji-hye and Choi Seong-wook got married in 2019. They received much blessing and support after announcing the news of their twin pregnancy following IVF treatment last February.
On the 8th, at 35 weeks, Choi Seong-wook shared the news of his wife's emergency cesarean section, stating, "Around 3:30 AM, her water broke and there was bleeding, so we urgently visited the emergency room, and since the delivery was already progressing a lot, an emergency cesarean section was likely to be performed immediately."
After safely delivering the babies, he reported, "My wife had slightly high blood pressure after giving birth, showing early symptoms of pregnancy-induced hypertension, but she is enduring well and recovering."
