The winning team of 'World of Street Woman Fighter', Osaka Ojo Gang 6, has expressed their stance on the 'Ibuki controversy'.
On the 9th, the six members of Osaka Ojo Gang (Minami, Uwa, Junna, Hana, Ru, Kyoka) released a statement saying, "We sincerely apologize for causing confusion to many due to various issues."
Osaka Ojo Gang leader Ibuki did not attend the concert held in Seoul on the 6th and 7th. Subsequently, the concert organizer, Route 59, announced, "Ibuki, a dancer from Osaka Ojo Gang, will not be attending the Busan concert scheduled for the 13th at Busan Sajik Indoor Gymnasium due to health reasons."
In response, Ibuki claimed on the 8th, "The concert organizers demanded a contract in a situation where I had no right to speak as an artist during the proposal process," and Route 59 countered on the 9th that the Osaka Ojo Gang manager requested a side contract during the contract negotiations.
In this regard, the six members of Osaka Ojo Gang stated, "We were preparing for the tour to keep our promise to our fans to 'take the stage'. However, we never received any explanation about the tour contract or schedule from our manager. We learned through contact with Route 59 that negotiations between the manager and the tour side were not proceeding properly."
The six revealed that the team manager of Osaka Ojo Gang is Ibuki's personal manager and that there were numerous issues, such as the non-payment of appearance fees or the handling of amounts being unclear. They mentioned that after discussions, they heard from Ibuki that "I will dismiss the manager," but the promise was not kept.
The six stated, "We believe it is undesirable for various speculations or incorrect information to circulate, so we decided to convey the truth ourselves," and added, "We will discuss future Ojo Gang activities and inform you sincerely."
Meanwhile, 'Street Woman Fighter 3' is a survival program featuring female dance crews from five countries: Korea, the USA, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand. After concluding in July, they are currently on a nationwide tour concert in cities such as Seoul, Busan, Changwon, Ilsan, and Daegu.
