Singer Kang Daniel's performance has been suddenly canceled.
His agency, A, announced on the afternoon of the 7th (local time), “We sincerely apologize for delivering such sudden news to the fans who have been eagerly waiting for today’s performance,” and announced the cancellation of the concert scheduled in Jersey City.
The agency stated, “The concert ‘ACT: New Episode’ scheduled for September 6 in Jersey City, NJ, was something the artist and all of us worked hard to proceed with, but due to insufficient preparation of the local system and unexpected operational issues, we judged that it would be difficult to provide a safe and complete stage.”
They continued, “We discussed with the local side until the last moment, but we decided to cancel as proceeding with the performance in an incomplete environment could be a greater disservice to the fans,” and explained, “Tickets will be automatically refunded in full without any separate request.”
According to fans who were present at the time, Kang Daniel personally explained the situation to the audience and expressed his apologies.
Kang Daniel is currently on a large-scale U.S. tour, passing through 12 major cities including Washington and New York starting this month. He will then move to South America, meeting fans in Argentina and Brazil.
