Global artist Jennie continues to make new history with ‘Ruby’.
According to the latest chart released by the American music media Billboard (as of September 6), Jennie’s first solo studio album ‘Ruby’ re-entered the Billboard main album chart ‘Billboard 200’ at number 153, and ranked 5th on the vinyl (LP) album chart, proving her enduring popularity.
Additionally, ‘Ruby’ recently made its way back to the UK Official Album Chart (as of August 29) at number 72, and secured 8th place on the vinyl (LP) album chart, marking the highest ranking for a K-Pop artist this year.
Previously, Jennie received Gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for her singles ‘Mantra’ and the title track ‘Like Jennie’ from ‘Ruby’. Jennie has achieved a total of 3 certifications from the RIAA, setting the record for the most RIAA certifications among K-Pop solo artists.
Moreover, Jennie is the only K-Pop artist included in the lists of ‘The Best Albums of 2025 So Far’ published by renowned American music magazines such as Rolling Stone, Complex, and Billboard.
The title track ‘Like Jennie’ was selected as number 1 in the list of ‘The 25 Best K-Pop Songs of 2025 (So Far): Critic’s Picks’ released by Billboard, gaining recognition from various foreign media and enjoying high popularity worldwide.
