Singer Lim Jae-bum is returning to the music scene with two pre-release tracks from his 8th studio album to celebrate his 40th debut anniversary.
Lim Jae-bum will release the pre-release tracks 'The Time You Come' and 'Greeting' on the 17th at 6 PM.
These new songs are the first music he has released in about three years since his 7th studio album 'SEVEN' released in 2022. The previous album consisted of a total of 13 tracks, including a prologue, three acts, an epilogue, and a bonus track, showcasing a level of completeness reminiscent of a musical, and it delivered a great emotional impact with Lim Jae-bum's uniquely powerful and appealing vocals that capture the depth of time. The pre-release tracks are expected to continue that resonance while reaffirming his unchanging presence and profound musical world as a master built over 40 years since his debut.
According to his agency Blue Seed Entertainment, the pre-release tracks focus on expressing Lim Jae-bum's emotions through various narratives. Collaborating with producer Park Gi-deok, who has worked with Lim Jae-bum for a long time, they teamed up with the producer team Mad Soul Child, known for composing the OST 'Dear' from the movie 'The Man from Nowhere' and Lim Jae-bum's 'Love'.
Ahead of the pre-release track release, Lim Jae-bum shared a video of the studio shooting on his official YouTube channel, updating fans after a long time. In the video, Lim Jae-bum captivated fans with his unique heavy charisma and aura. Fans expressed their excitement for the new song release with comments like "I've been waiting for a long time," "Just his presence is amazing," and "The king's return."
Additionally, to celebrate his 40th debut anniversary, Lim Jae-bum will hold a nationwide tour concert titled 'I Am Lim Jae-bum.' Starting with a performance in Daegu on November 29, he will travel across the country, including Incheon and Seoul, to share the significance of his 40-year music career with fans on stage.
