The project group ‘Yours’, born through ‘Be My Boys’, has set its debut time for next year.
On the afternoon of the 1st, a press conference for the debut group Top 8, formed through the SBS global audition program ‘Be My Boys’, was held at Summer Star located in Hangangro 3-ga, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
The event was attended by the Top 8 debut group, as well as Park Kwon-young, the representative of Pinnacle Entertainment, which manages them, and representatives from the Chinese entertainment company Lucky Gate, the partner for global expansion (Wang Feng, So Kyung-hong, Mok Ji-won).
On this day, Representative Park stated about Yours, “After a pre-debut in the second half of this year, we plan to target the Asian market, including China, Japan, and Korea. We aim to debut in early next year after enhancing our capabilities through various promotions.”
Regarding the debut in China, he explained, “Lucky Gate is a company that has strengths not only in music but also in acting. We will enable the members to continue their activities as actors.”
Representative So Kyung-hong said, “I had trust in Representative Park. I thought that if it was a team he produced, I could trust and support it. Based on Representative Park's experience in the entertainment industry, I believed that he could sufficiently make the members of Yours into a global group.”
Lucky Gate is a large Chinese entertainment company with 40 years of experience, having represented the album rights of global pop stars such as Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Britney Spears, as well as albums from SONY, BMG, and Universal.
Meanwhile, in the final round of the SBS global audition program ‘B:MY BOYZ’ (hereinafter ‘Be My Boys’) held live on the 30th, the Top 8 members Hyo, Lee Yeon-tae, Moon Jae-il, Kim Bo-hyun, Kai, Kang Jun-seong, Park Se-chan, and Haruto confirmed their debut as Yours after fierce competition.
Their official debut is set for January next year.
