Yoon Ji-yoon of the group IZNA, who had suspended activities for health reasons, is leaving the team.
The agency Wake One announced on the 19th through an official statement, "After a long period of careful consideration due to health reasons, Yoon Ji-yoon has decided to conclude her team activities."
Wake One explained, "Since the beginning of this year, Yoon Ji-yoon has been focusing on rest and recovery, and during that process, we and the artist have had in-depth discussions about future activities. As a result, we decided to end team activities with health as the top priority."
They added, "Accordingly, IZNA will continue to operate as a six-member group. We apologize for causing concern to fans with this sudden news, and we will do our best to ensure that IZNA can repay with great performances."
IZNA was formed through the Mnet audition program 'I-LAND 2' last year and officially debuted in November of the same year. However, Yoon Ji-yoon temporarily suspended activities in February this year, just three months after debut, due to health issues and condition difficulties.
