Cha Eun-woo, a member of the group ASTRO and an actor, is making headlines with updates after his enlistment.
ASTRO's Yoon San-ha recently shared messages he received from Cha Eun-woo on a fan communication platform, providing updates on him.
Yoon San-ha said, "Eun-woo hyung suddenly sent a message in the group chat, asking, 'How was (military life) for Hyung Myung-jun (MJ)?' and 'Please save me,'" he recounted.
While expressing concern, Yoon San-ha added, "Even our hyung, who has good stamina," but reassured fans by saying, "It seems like he is adapting well."
Reports of Cha Eun-woo's presence at the training center are spreading through various online communities.
One netizen shared an anecdote, saying, "When people kept staring at Cha Eun-woo, the instructor said, 'Please do not stare. He is a person,'" while another netizen reported, "When hundreds of people were looking in one direction, usually Cha Eun-woo was there."
Cha Eun-woo entered the Army Training Center in Nonsan, Chungnam, on the 28th of last month. After completing basic military training, he is expected to serve in the military band.
His agency, Fantagio, stated immediately after his enlistment, "Please refrain from sending mail or gifts to the training center or military unit as it may interfere with military life," adding, "All gifts delivered to military units and related places will be disposed of."
Cha Eun-woo's expected discharge date is January 27, 2027.
