The original soundtrack (OST) of the Netflix animated film ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ has achieved 2nd place on the US Billboard main album chart ‘Billboard 200’ for two consecutive weeks.

Billboard announced on the 10th (local time) in a chart preview article that the ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ OST ranked 2nd, following country star Morgan Wallen's ‘I’m the Problem’.

The ‘Billboard 200’ ranks album consumption based on traditional album sales, the number of streams converted to album sales (SEA), and the number of digital downloads converted to album sales (TEA).

The ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ OST recorded album units equivalent to 100,000 during this charting period, which is a 7% increase from the previous week and a record high for itself.

Debuting at 8th place on the ‘Billboard 200’, the album has recorded 3rd, 2nd, 5th, 3rd, 2nd, and 2nd places up to this week, marking its third non-consecutive 2nd place.

Meanwhile, ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ is a work that tells the story of the K-pop idol group HuntRix fighting evil spirits and protecting the world through their songs. Since its release in June, it has gained global popularity, reaching number one in the Netflix movie category.
