A scene of Zerobaseone's manager seemingly swinging a fist at a fan at Incheon International Airport has come under scrutiny.
Zerobaseone departed for Los Angeles, USA, on the 31st of last month to attend 'KCON LA 2025'. During this process, a man believed to be associated with Zerobaseone made gestures of pushing or raising his fist towards the fans gathered at the scene. This was captured in videos by other fans and spread on social media.
A netizen, referred to as A, shared a video of the incident on social media, captioned, "The story of getting hit by the manager while watching Zerobaseone."
The released video shows a man wearing a black hat aggressively pushing a fan holding a mobile phone and threateningly raising his fist towards their face.
The video also captures a voice saying "Please move aside," along with a shaking camera and a sound of impact. A claimed that they got a bruise on their elbow and asserted that the individual was the manager of Zerobaseone who appeared on the entertainment program 'All-Seeing Manager'.
According to comprehensive channel Channel A, the agency Wake One acknowledged that the man was a manager. However, when Maeil Business Star Today asked the agency for a specific statement, they remained silent.
Excessive protective measures during the entry and exit of celebrities have continuously sparked controversy. In June, a bodyguard for the group Hearts to Hearts was captured pushing and hitting a woman holding a camera while using a shuttle train at Incheon International Airport.
Last year, bodyguards for actor Byun Woo-seok were criticized for blocking airport entry gates and shining flashlights at lounge passengers while checking tickets, leading to accusations of 'imperial protection'.
