The ‘Gen Z Beauty’ group Kiki is making a comeback.
On the 17th, their agency Starship Entertainment announced, “Kiki is intensively preparing for a comeback aimed for August.”
Kiki's comeback comes about five months after the release of their debut album ‘UNCUT GEM’ in March. ‘UNCUT GEM’ easily surpassed 200,000 copies in initial sales, topping both the weekly and daily album charts on Hanteo, and ranked 3rd on the weekly World Chart, showcasing their outstanding presence as a rookie.
In particular, the title track ‘I DO ME’ from ‘UNCUT GEM’ maintained the number one spot on YouTube's trending videos immediately after the music video was released, and after the digital release, it topped the Spotify Viral 50 chart in Korea, reached a peak of 3rd on the Melon Hot 100 chart, and demonstrated its power across major domestic music charts such as Bugs, Vibe, Genie, Flo, and YouTube Music. Kiki won the first place trophy on MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ with ‘I DO ME’.
Kiki officially debuted in the music industry on March 24, capturing the public's heart not only with their outstanding skills but also with visuals that resonate with the Gen Z generation. As a result, they solidified their position as a ‘2025 rising star’ by winning the Rookie of the Year award at the ‘Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2025’ and the ‘Seoul Music Awards’.
Through ‘I DO ME’, Kiki showcased their confident and unpretentious charm with the message ‘I will be myself’, and attention is focused on how they will color the music industry with ‘Gen Z Beauty’ this time.
Meanwhile, Kiki's comeback schedule can be confirmed through their official SNS channels. They meet fans every Wednesday at 7:25 PM through their debut self-produced content ‘Kiki Pang Pang’.
