The group BLACKPINK's new song 'JUMP' will be released on the 11th at 1 PM.
On the 8th, YG Entertainment posted a teaser titled 'BLACKPINK - 'JUMP' M/V TEASER' on their official blog, hinting at an unprecedented scale music video that feels like watching a movie.
It starts off intensely. The image of BLACKPINK flying, reminiscent of a superhero, is captured in a comic book cover style, overwhelming the viewer's attention. The dynamic camera movement crossing between high-rise buildings showcased exceptional allure.
Following this, the members Rosé, Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa, each radiating different auras, appeared sequentially on a massive electronic billboard, raising the heart rate. Finally, the four members stood together in front of a mural depicting BLACKPINK, striking photogenic poses that heightened fans' anticipation to the maximum.
The music video for 'JUMP' is directed by Dave Meyers, who has worked with numerous pop stars and won a Grammy Award. As YG previously hinted at an iconic music video that encapsulates BLACKPINK's musical identity, there is great interest in what kind of result will emerge.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK has kicked off their world tour, starting with performances in Goyang on the 5th and 6th, covering 16 cities and 31 shows. They are expected to light up stadiums in various locations including Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
