The solo fan concert tour of BTS Jin is just one day away.
BTS Jin will kick off his fan concert tour ‘#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR’ at the Goyang Gymnasium Auxiliary Stadium in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province on the 28th and 29th.
Jin expressed his feelings about the concert through his agency Big Hit Music, saying, “I’m excited yet worried to hold a fan concert alone for the first time, but I’m really looking forward to meeting our ARMY (the fandom name). I’ve worked hard to bring happiness and fun to ARMY, so I hope everyone enjoys it together at the concert.”
He pointed out that there will be many parts where fans can sing along, saying, “I hope everyone jumps and sings together,” which raised expectations for interaction with the audience. He added, “If many people who come to the concert remember this moment joyfully and happily, I would be really happy too.”
This tour is planned as a spin-off of the self-produced entertainment content ‘Run, Seokjin’ showcased on Jin’s official YouTube channel. The concert title signifies the ‘journey’ of going to meet ARMY and carries a symbolic meaning of Jin running directly to fans around the world.
Jin's fan concert is significant in that it creates a performance together with the audience in real-time. Those who attend will be able to enjoy the fun of completing each stage and corner with him. Additionally, Jin's unique cheerfulness and creative ideas are expected to be reflected throughout the performance, providing various forms of entertainment.
In particular, the fan concert is generating more anticipation as singer Choi Yena is set to appear as a guest. They are expected to perform the song ‘Loser’ from Jin’s mini album ‘ECO’ in which she participated.
Meanwhile, starting with the Goyang concert, Jin will continue his fan concert tour in a total of 9 cities, including Chiba and Osaka in Japan, Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark in the USA, London in the UK, and Amsterdam in the Netherlands, with 18 performances to meet global fans. The Goyang concert will be available for real-time viewing through a large screen set up at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium for both days, and online streaming will be conducted on the global superfan platform Weverse.
