American broadcaster Robert Harley recalled his battle with nerve cancer.
On the 27th, a video featuring Robert Harley was released on the YouTube channel 'Hyun Jin-young'.
Hyun Jin-young asked Robert Harley, "I heard you were in the hospital for several months. What was wrong with you?"
Robert Harley replied, "I had a lot of nerve issues all over my body. It can be called peripheral nerve tumors. As that developed, the 3rd cranial nerve and the 6th cranial nerve became paralyzed. One side of my eye drooped. People thought it was a stroke."
He continued, "While receiving steroid treatment, my body swelled up, my head became twice its size, and my stomach also got very big. I couldn't walk at all. I had inflammation in my spine and all over my body. Eventually, I had to use a wheelchair."

Robert Harley said, "I thought it was pancreatic cancer, but it wasn't. I had nerve cancer in my leg. Nerve cancer is rare, so people don't know much about it," and added, "It's a disease that doesn't respond to radiation or chemotherapy. I just had surgery to remove the tumor and stayed in the hospital for about three months."
He added, "Fortunately, my body has shrunk, and I was able to completely stop the steroids. My eye has also recovered."
Robert Harley revealed last year on MBN's 'Once in a While, I Decide to Divorce' that he was diagnosed with nerve cancer in 2020. At that time, he said, "The nerve cancer was found in my leg. While I was in the hospital, all my muscles deteriorated. They completely melted away. So when I was discharged later, I couldn't even stand, and it was very difficult."
Robert Harley is a first-generation broadcaster who became a naturalized citizen in 1997. He married a Korean woman in 1988 and has three sons. In April 2019, he was arrested on drug charges and was sentenced to one year in prison and two years of probation in August of that year.
