The fan club of singer Lim Young-woong has donated 100 bags of rice, totaling 1 ton (worth about 3 million won), to the city of Gwacheon.
According to Gwacheon City on the 11th, the rice donation ceremony held in the lobby of Gwacheon City Hall was attended by about 10 people, including Mayor Shin Kye-yong, Shin Eun-joo, the head of Lim Young-woong's fan club in Gyeonggi 2, and Jeong Yeon-ja, the president of the Korean Red Cross Society Gwacheon Council, who shared the spirit of giving.
The donated rice will be delivered to 100 vulnerable households in 7 districts within the city through the Korean Red Cross Society Gwacheon Council.
Shin Eun-joo stated, “The members united their hearts to help neighbors in need,” and added, “We will continue to engage in activities that benefit the local community.”
The charitable actions of Lim Young-woong's fans have continued. On the 2nd, they donated 2 million won in Lim Young-woong's name to support emergency treatment costs for children with pediatric cancer, leukemia, and rare incurable diseases.
Additionally, during the support for the wildfire damage that occurred in the Gyeongnam region last March, they donated about 600 million won. Combined with the 400 million won donation from Lim Young-woong and his agency, a total of about 1 billion won was donated by the singer and his fandom.
Including this rice donation, the total accumulated donations made in Lim Young-woong's name amount to 100 million 698 thousand won.
Meanwhile, Lim Young-woong recently won the Best Solo Male Award at 'ASEA 2025'.
