The title track of the new album by the group Ailit (ILLIT) is 'Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)'. Along with this, some of the tracks from the new album have been revealed for the first time, raising expectations for their comeback.
Ailit (Yuna, Minju, Mocha, Wonhee, Iroha) posted the tracklist of their mini album 'bomb' on the official team SNS on the 22nd. According to this, the new album includes a total of 5 songs, including the title track 'Borrowed Cat (Do the Dance)', 'little monster', 'jellyous', 'oops!', and 'Night Picnic'.
The uniquely titled title track stands out. The title, which uses the proverb 'like a borrowed cat' to describe unfamiliar and tense situations, piques curiosity. Additionally, the contrasting subtitle 'Do the Dance' raises questions about its connection to the song's message.
The highlight medley has made listeners anticipate Ailit's trendy and addictive music. This video contains parts of the melodies and lyrics of the tracks, excluding the title song, along with the members' voices. The charming visuals catch the eye, showcasing the members riding bicycles while humming the song, taking photos, and stargazing, highlighting their natural and unpretentious charm.
With a vintage and simple sound and a strong hook, 'little monster', a catchy tune with a fast beat 'jellyous', an exciting chorus that changes the mood in 'oops!', and 'Night Picnic', a lo-fi pop genre with picnic vibes, each song offers a unique listening experience.
Following the highlight medley of the tracks, Ailit will present a snippet of the title track today (23rd) that allows listeners to hear part of it in advance. This unusual promotional method of revealing the highlights of the music shows Ailit's confidence in their music.
Ailit's mini album 'bomb' tells the story of expanding their world with their unique attitude through interaction with 'you'. This album will be released on the 16th of next month at 6 PM.
