On the afternoon of the 9th, KBS2's entertainment program ‘The Boss's Ears Are Donkey Ears’ (hereafter ‘Sadangui’) featured Um Ji-in, Park Myung-soo, and Boss Shin Jong-cheol.
During the broadcast, Um Ji-in, who came to work late in the evening, said, “I’m in charge of the night shift. We have three news recordings, and if there’s a breaking news alert on TV, I have to jump right in, so I can’t relax,” while waiting for the junior announcers.
At that moment, Hong Joo-yeon, Heo Yoo-won, and Jeong Eun-hye appeared, and Um Ji-in explained the simultaneous radio news broadcast at 9 PM, asking, “Have you ever done underwater reporting?” The first to attempt underwater reporting was announcer Hong Joo-yeon, and upon hearing her, Um Ji-in scolded, “Joo-yeon, I’m so flustered right now. I thought it was an AI voice. You need to handle the endings properly, right? Don’t get intimidated when you’re broadcasting!”
In response, Um Ji-in demonstrated and advised, “Citizen interviews are difficult because they are full of emotions. The most important thing is that the listeners understand clearly. You need to practice a lot. Joo-yeon, show us properly later,”
When Hong Joo-yeon arrived at the underwater reporting studio for the 9 PM radio news, she completed the underwater reporting perfectly, unlike her practice. Next, after Heo Yoo-won finished the 10 PM radio underwater reporting, Um Ji-in asked, “Didn’t we decide to practice parking and driving today?” and inspected the vehicle.
Upon seeing the inside of Hong Joo-yeon’s car, Um Ji-in exclaimed, “Joo-yeon... Joo-yeon!” and was taken aback, then gasped, “Isn’t this underwear?” Hong Joo-yeon replied, “Oh, this isn’t underwear, it’s a mask! I wear it when I haven’t put on sunscreen. The second boss featured was Park Myung-soo, along with Shin Gi-ru. I really envy that,” and Park Myung-soo responded, “He’s a fortune teller in the entertainment industry, predicting the future of entertainment,” guiding Shin Gi-ru.
The two visited the workspace of entertainment industry senior Lee Kyung-kyu. Recently writing an essay, Lee Kyung-kyu promoted his book, saying, “I wrote it from my perspective!”
Park Myung-soo explained, “I visited because I think we need to read the new entertainment landscape for the New Year 2025 to win awards. It’s not wrong that Lee Chan-won won an award, but our entertainers’ positions are diminishing,” revealing the reason for visiting the godfather.

The third boss featured was Chef Shin Jong-cheol. He summoned his staff to prepare for a secret VIP gourmet meeting that only a few would attend. When Manager Ham said, “My ligament is slightly injured,” Shin Jong-cheol scolded, “I’ve been a chef for nearly 35 years. If you can’t even take care of your body, how are you going to make desserts?” surprising the panelists.
As soon as the meeting ended, he began inspecting the ingredients, saying, “This is a green tomato, but why is it a red tomato? You should provide the recipe, menu, and photos, and the plating should be done properly. The nutritional chives aren’t fresh, and the asparagus is all wilted! What is this? The sizes of the asparagus are all different! Is it okay for a VIP event to have different sizes? Even one can make the guests feel the quality difference,” and discarded all the asparagus.

Next, the second course, sous-vide lobster and sea urchin tofu, was served, and after tasting it, Shin Jong-cheol checked the time it took to serve the food and the vegetable sizes, saying, “It took 5 minutes and 20 seconds?”
He tasted the lamb chops, took out a ruler, and measured the sizes of the vegetables and meat, concluding the rehearsal.
Another meeting was called, and Shin Jong-cheol said, “I hate leaving food behind the most, right? Do you see any leftover food? Why was it left? It’s obvious that it’s tasteless, and we can’t hold this event tomorrow! It’s not at a level to hold an event! What do I value the most?” calling the staff in charge of vegetables.
He threw the ruler and demanded, “Measure it!” and asked, “How many millimeters did I tell you to cut it?” He then got angry, saying, “You cut it but it’s not cut properly? If you can’t do it, don’t do it!”
