According to YG Entertainment on the 18th, Baby Monster will perform at 'Summer Sonic 2025' to be held on August 16 at the Expo '70 Commemorative Park in Osaka, Japan. This marks their second consecutive year performing at this festival following last year.
'Summer Sonic' is a large-scale urban music festival in Japan featuring top local artists as well as global musicians. With their name alongside artists like Alicia Keys and Camila Cabello, Baby Monster has established themselves as a global sensation.
Particularly, Baby Monster garnered explosive reactions from global fans last year with their polished performance, which was unexpected for a rookie group, leading to heightened anticipation for their upcoming appearance.
Despite not having officially debuted in Japan yet, Baby Monster is exerting a strong influence in the local music market. They are expected to set a new record for the shortest time to attract 100,000 audience members for a K-pop girl group during their first Japanese tour, and they have already showcased significant projects in collaboration with Google Pixel and 'Sony Park Exhibition 2025' Part 2.
