BTS member Jin returns with the title track 'Don't Say You Love Me.'
On the 17th at midnight (Korean time), Jin posted the tracklist for his mini album 'Echo' on the team's official SNS. This album includes a total of 7 songs, including the title track 'Don't Say You Love Me,' 'Nothing Without Your Love,' 'Loser,' 'Rope It,' 'A Journey with Clouds,' 'Background,' and 'To Myself Today.'
The title track 'Don't Say You Love Me' sings about the irony of not being able to let go of each other easily due to love, even as the relationship with a partner is falling apart. The second track 'Nothing Without Your Love' conveys a heartfelt message that without the other person's love, I am nothing.
The third track 'Loser' expresses a couple that sometimes bickers playfully and sometimes out of habit. This song features the vibrant charm of solo artist YENA (Choi Yena), who will showcase fresh chemistry with Jin.
The fourth track 'Rope It' joyfully and energetically sings about the need for not only choices but also bold sacrifices to achieve what you want and reach your goals. The fifth track 'A Journey with Clouds' is based on a fairy-tale-like desire to accompany a friend, 'Cloud,' who embraces all of me.
The sixth track 'Background' deals with the poignant emotion of 'I have become the past, but my love still waits for that person.' The final track 'To Myself Today' is a song dedicated to the 'me' of today, who is faithful to the present and will not return.
In particular, Jin directly participated in the lyrics of several songs included in this album, showcasing his capabilities as a solo artist and adding authenticity to the album.
The second mini album 'Echo,' featuring Jin's diverse voice based on band sounds, will be released on May 16 at 1 PM. Jin has completed the new album by looking at various moments of life that anyone can relate to from his own perspective and expressing his thoughts in a straightforward yet witty manner.
Jin will sequentially release three versions of concept photos that capture the atmosphere of the new album from the 22nd to the 24th, heightening fans' anticipation.
