Singer and actor Yang Dong-geun, who was embroiled in political controversy, has once again come under fire for his provocative remarks and actions.

On the 8th, Yang Dong-geun posted several photos on his social media (SNS) with the caption 'Self Portrait'.

The released photos included his appearance on a variety show, a funeral home sign, and Bible verses.

Previously, on the 30th of last month, Yang Dong-geun participated in a youth camp at the Busan World Church as a member of the CCM performance team 'Case Spirit'.

The event was hosted by Pastor Son Hyun-bo, a staunch conservative figure who publicly supported former President Yoon Seok-yeol's consideration of martial law on December 3 and led rallies against impeachment while raising allegations of election fraud.

After attending the event, Yang Dong-geun posted a video of himself at the event on his SNS with the caption 'Wash it whiter than snow', which sparked controversy.

In response to the criticism, his agency, Jo Entertainment, explained, “(Yang Dong-geun) participated in the Christian event with pure faith” and stated, “He has no personal relationship with Pastor Son and did not express any political stance.”

However, shortly after the agency's explanation, Yang Dong-geun posted another message on his SNS, saying, “It’s my fault for believing you. Feel free to be disappointed and curse. You have the freedom to do that. Isn’t it a bit much for me to commit suicide?” along with a photo of himself with profanity written on his forehead, further igniting controversy.

As concerns grow over his bizarre emotional behavior, Yang Dong-geun is preparing for the release of the movie 'Starlight Falls' and the Disney+ series 'Sculpture City'.
