The second concert tour of the world-renowned rock band Coldplay is about to begin.
Starting from the 16th, Coldplay will hold their concert 'LIVE NATION PRESENTS COLDPLAY: MUSIC OF THE SPHERES DELIVERED BY DHL' at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province on the 18th-19th, 22nd, and 24th-25th. Each performance is expected to attract around 30,000 people, totaling 180,000 attendees over 6 shows.
This concert marks Coldplay's first performance in Korea in 8 years since their first concert in 2017, generating great anticipation among domestic fans upon the announcement. The response was explosive, with most of the initially planned 4 shows selling out through artist pre-sales and Live Nation pre-sales.
In response, Coldplay added 2 more shows to accommodate fans who could not secure tickets, leading to a significant positive reaction.
Coldplay's visit to Korea is their second since the 'A Head Full of Dreams' world tour in 2017. That concert also sold out, drawing 100,000 attendees at the Seoul Jamsil Sports Complex, proving their popularity. Notably, during that concert, Coldplay held a moment of remembrance for the victims of the Sewol ferry disaster on the 3rd anniversary (April 16), performing 'Yellow' and displaying yellow ribbons on the screen, which garnered attention.

For this concert, the domestic group TWICE will appear as special guests for all shows. Additionally, Chilean singer-songwriter Eliana and singer-songwriter Hanro will also be special guests.
Alongside the concert, Coldplay will operate a 'Coldplay Moon Music Seoul Popup' at The Hyundai Seoul from the 10th to the 27th of this month. Fans can find official Coldplay merchandise, including albums, limited edition t-shirts, and tour posters available exclusively at the popup store. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the non-profit organization 'Snail of Love,' which supports surgeries for the hearing impaired, spreading a positive impact.
Composed of Chris Martin (vocals, piano), Jonny Buckland (guitar), Guy Berryman (bass), and Will Champion (drums), Coldplay is a world-renowned rock band that has sold over 100 million albums, including 9 studio albums. They have captivated both the public and critics through various musical endeavors, being recognized as one of the most successful bands and influential artists of the 21st century.
The timing of this Coldplay concert draws even more attention due to the political context. During their first concert, former President Park Geun-hye was impeached, leaving the presidency vacant. Currently, with former President Yoon Seok-yeol's removal, the situation is similar to the past. As a result, some have proposed a parallel theory regarding Coldplay's concert in Korea.
