Singer Won Mi-yeon revealed that she performed at a live cafe just two weeks after giving birth.

On the 28th, KBS2’s ‘Park Won-sook’s Let’s Live Together’ depicted Won Mi-yeon and Namgoong Ok-bun joining as family members living together in Seoul.

On that day, Won Mi-yeon shared that she was running a live cafe while working as a radio DJ. She said, “At that time, I signed a lease and operated the store. After running it for a year and much deliberation, I decided to take over the store.”

She continued, “The owner even suggested taking over the second floor. So, we decided to operate the second floor as a space without singing. I took out a loan and started the interior construction, but as the construction progressed, the additional costs kept increasing.”

Won Mi-yeon confessed, “I was supposed to meet the interior contractor at night, but I couldn’t get in touch with him. I was so unable to reach him that I sent an employee to the interior office. The employee returned in an hour and said, ‘This is a big problem. There are people lined up at the interior office.’ The contractor took my money and left for Korea the next day. He ran away with all the construction costs.”

On another note, Won Mi-yeon revealed that she had to perform live even while pregnant due to the operation of the live cafe. She said, “I had to pay the staff’s salaries, so I performed live even while pregnant. I performed until I was eight months pregnant, as long as I could still fly. I covered my belly with a cape and apologized to my daughter while performing.”

Won Mi-yeon also performed just two weeks after giving birth. She recalled, “Because I couldn’t perform due to childbirth, the number of customers at the live cafe decreased. So, I pumped breast milk and froze it, and went to Busan to perform on the weekends. I earned money during that time to make up for it. It seems like payday and rent day come around so quickly.”
