The group 82Major has broken their silence today to announce an ambitious comeback.
The group 82Major will release their mini album 'Silence Syndrome' at 6 PM on the 14th through various online music sites.
'Silence Syndrome' is the album released about six months after their mini album 'X-82' released last year. It will contain music and performances that are further upgraded based on 82Major's unique musical color.

Q. You have made a comeback with mini album 'Silence Syndrome'. What are your thoughts?
Park Seok-jun: I'm excited to show you the album we've worked hard on. We've shown different concepts each time, but this time with 'What Are You Looking At (TAKEOVER)', I dyed my hair for the first time and it's a new challenge, making it even more special! The music video also has a cinematic atmosphere combined with 82Major's unique charm and wit, so I'm looking forward to how the public will perceive it.
Q. What kind of album is 'Silence Syndrome'? Please also introduce the title track 'What Are You Looking At (TAKEOVER)'.
Jo Sung-il: The 'SILENCE' in mini album 'SILENCE SYNDROME' has a dual meaning. First, it refers to the current situation where people are silent (SILENCE) and conforming within a standardized system. It also conveys the message that 82Major will break that system and surprise people with our music, making them speechless (SILENCE).
Hwang Seong-bin: The title track 'What Are You Looking At (TAKEOVER)' is a hip-hop base track that blends various genres like trap, UK drill, and drum and bass. It highlights our rebellious attitude and confident aspirations of not following the same path as others.
Q. Are there any points to watch for in this album or the title track's stage?
Kim Do-kyun: The intense choreography that matches the straightforward expression of 'What Are You Looking At' is a key point. There are gestures in the chorus that literally say 'What Are You Looking At', and the overall difficulty is high, so I think viewers will feel a strong energy.
Q. The concept photos for the new album are unique. Fashion is also an essential part for 82Major. Is there a 'pursuit of beauty' for this activity's concept?
Yoon Ye-chan: We tried various styles in this album. Some members dyed their hair for the first time, and we combined different styles like funky grunge with our own color. Overall, we aimed to show a style that is not cliché and is free, showcasing 82Major's unique style!
Q. You participated in writing and composing the included songs. If you had to pick your favorite track?
Nam Seong-mo: 'Promise You' is special because it's a gift for our fans. From the moment we created the song, we only thought about our fans, and the title was decided through a vote among fans from six titles suggested by the members. I'm happy that my title was chosen, but the biggest reason this song is dear to me is that it was made together with our fandom, Attitude.
Yoon Ye-chan: 'Heroic' is a song that embodies 82Major's charm and confidence! I especially like the lyrics 'Walking like Chow Yun-fat'; when Seong-mo said this line, I thought, 'This is it!' because it fits the song so well. The atmosphere of the song is really 'cool', so if you listen to it, you'll feel 82Major's aura.
Q. The music video for 'What Are You Looking At (TAKEOVER)' feels like a movie. Are there any memorable episodes or points to watch while filming?
Nam Seong-mo: I remember when we were all running on the road, a dog that was nearby ran over and joined us. It was surprising and fun because it was unexpected!
Park Seok-jun: This music video has a story like a movie. A film director actually participated, so you can enjoy the beautiful visuals like in a movie. And our new styling is also a point, so I hope you enjoy it together.
Q. You have been holding concerts for every album to earn the title of 'performance-type idol'. Do you have plans to be with fans during this activity as well?
Yoon Ye-chan: 82Major loves and enjoys performing the most. It's still hard to say exactly, but we are working hard to create opportunities to perform on stage with our fans. If we have a concert, please come and join us!
Q. What goals do you want to achieve through this comeback, and what new titles would you like to gain?
Jo Sung-il: First, my goal is for many people to listen to this album! Thank you for the love during our last 'Stuck' activities! We worked really hard on 'What Are You Looking At (TAKEOVER)', so I hope you listen to it well. And I want to achieve first place too!
Hwang Seong-bin: I think the term 'rebellious child' fits well with this album's concept. I want to hear the title 'rebellious child' as a sign that I have well embodied the concept.
Kim Do-kyun: I want to earn the title 'rainbow' because I want to be able to embody any concept well.
Park Seok-jun: I want to earn the title 'black hole-like' for our team. I want to be a group that has an irresistible charm that you can't help but get drawn into.

Nam Seong-mo: I hope all the songs from 82Major's album enter the music charts! I hope many people listen to and love all our songs.
Yoon Ye-chan: I want to go to the Grammy Awards! I want to show 82Major's performance on a big stage!
