The group Stray Kids has won the 'K-Pop Album of the Year' award at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Stray Kids was announced as the winner of the 'K-Pop Album of the Year' category with their mini album 'ATE' at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards held on March 17 (local time) at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, USA. Having lifted the trophy in the same category last year with their third studio album '★★★★★ (5-STAR)', Stray Kids has achieved the honor of winning for two consecutive years, further enhancing their reputation as a 'Global Top Artist.'
The iHeartRadio Music Awards is a music awards ceremony hosted by iHeartRadio, the largest online radio broadcaster in the United States, since 2014. It awards artists and songs that have been played the most on the station and its application throughout the year.
Released in July 2024, 'ATE' is a work that embodies Stray Kids' grand ambition to 'dominate the music industry.' The album recorded 232,000 album units in its first week in the U.S., reaching number one on the Billboard main chart 'Billboard 200.' Stray Kids made history as the first group in the world to have five consecutive works debut at number one on this chart, starting from their debut work 'ODDINARY' in 2022 to 'ATE.' The title track 'Chk Chk Boom,' which entered the Billboard 'Hot 100' for the third time and achieved its highest ranking at 49, was also nominated for 'K-Pop Song of the Year' at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Stray Kids, which has recently made its presence felt at various overseas awards, including being selected as the 'Top Global K-Pop Artist' at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards and winning 'Music Video of the Year' and 'Best 3 Albums' at the 39th Japan Gold Disc Awards, continues to add trophies from the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards and maintain their global trend.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids will release a new digital single 'Mixtape: dominATE' on March 21 at 1 PM (midnight Eastern Time). This surprise gift for fans comes ahead of their 7th anniversary, and the stage performances of the included unit songs will be unveiled for the first time during their world tour, which resumes in Santiago from March 27 to 28.
