On the 26th, SM Entertainment stated in an official position, "We have confirmed that false information, malicious slander, and defamation regarding our artist Hearts2Hearts are being posted and disseminated, and we have initiated legal procedures to respond to this matter."
They continued, "Manipulating false information or creating and spreading baseless rumors based on unverified facts is a clear illegal act, and we would like to inform you that we will respond strongly to such illegal acts without any leniency or settlement," adding, "We will continue to do our best to protect our artists."
Meanwhile, Hearts2Hearts, consisting of Carmen, Jiwoo, Yuhwa, Stella, Jueun, Eina, Ian, and Yeon, debuted on the 24th with their first single 'The Chase.'
