Broadcaster Lee Kyung-sil recalls the time she was estranged from her son after he announced his premarital pregnancy.
Lee Kyung-sil is set to appear on the MBC entertainment program ‘Radio Star’ airing on the 28th, showcasing her candid responses.
According to MBC, during the broadcast, Lee Kyung-sil will confess, “When my son first revealed that he was going to have a baby, I felt like everything was dark,” sharing her feelings at that time.
Lee Kyung-sil expressed her honest concern for her son, who became a father at the young age of 23, saying, “It was more than I could handle compared to all the things I had experienced.”
However, she mentioned that watching her daughter-in-law's parenting has built her trust. She shared, “After being estranged from my son for over a year, I called him home and met my daughter-in-law and grandson for the first time,” revealing her unique family story. Additionally, Lee Kyung-sil conveyed her affectionate feelings as she spends her days loving her daughter-in-law and grandson.
On that day, Lee Kyung-sil will also reveal a past incident involving a fistfight with her close junior, Jo Hye-ryun. She said, “We actually fought in the ring,” recounting the situation at the time and bringing laughter. Furthermore, it was reported that she humorously mentioned that she still has lingering effects from boxing 17 years ago.
