The child welfare organization Green Umbrella (Chairman Hwang Young-ki) announced on the 9th that singer Chungha has made a donation in the name of her fan club 'HARRT' to support medical expenses for low-income children and hygiene products for young girls and adolescents on her birthday.

Green Umbrella plans to use Chungha's donation of 50 million won for the surgical and rehabilitation costs of children from low-income families across the country who are struggling with high medical expenses, as well as for the purchase of hygiene products for vulnerable women, children, and adolescents.

Chungha is a member of the Green Noble Club, a group of major donors for Green Umbrella, and has consistently practiced sharing for children, starting with a donation of 50 million won for the treatment of sick children in 2019, followed by support for low-income children affected by COVID-19 in 2020 and donations for the Santa Expedition at the end of the year.

In January of last year, Chungha also supported low-income children undergoing facial correction surgery due to congenital cleft lip and palate and bone lengthening surgery due to knee cancer, and this year, she practiced this sharing in the name of her fan club on her birthday.

Chungha stated, “I hope the children recover both physically and mentally and grow up healthy, and I wish that women and adolescents can live each day confidently and proudly.”

Chairman Hwang Young-ki of Green Umbrella said, “This support will be a great help for children to spend their days healthily,” and added, “Green Umbrella will always continue to provide various support for a happy world for children.”
