The group IVE enjoyed the joy of their comeback with their fandom, DIVE.
IVE held a successful fan meetup event on the 3rd at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul to celebrate the release of their third mini album, 'IVE Empathy,' through Kakao Entertainment's music platform Melon's online and offline new music spotlight service, 'Melon Spotlight.'
A total of over 100 DIVE fans were invited to the fan meeting, where they spent special time with IVE. The members communicated directly with the fans, gauging their reactions to the new songs, and announced a powerful start to their comeback activities amidst enthusiastic support.
First, IVE watched the music video for the title track 'Attitude' with the fans, and each member shared their favorite scenes while revealing vivid behind-the-scenes stories from the shoot. Each time an interesting episode from the members was shared, the fans responded with cheers and applause, further elevating the atmosphere of the event.
Following this, various segments that provided both fun and emotion were held, including reading fans' comments and conducting a lucky draw event.
Before the fan meetup, fans left comments on Melon about the IVE song they first liked and the special stories associated with it, and the members were deeply moved as they read each selected story. From fans who experienced life changes after listening to the debut song 'Eleven' to those who gained strength from the message of 'self-confidence,' each precious story was shared.
One fan conveyed a heartfelt message, saying, “I hope the members' shining moments continue, and I wouldn't mind being blinded by that light,” which made the atmosphere even warmer.
In response, IVE said, “We sincerely thank the fans who have been with us from our debut until now,” adding, “If our songs have provided comfort during difficult times, that alone gives us strength.”
IVE successfully concluded the fan meetup event with a group photo time with the fans.
Meanwhile, 'Melon Spotlight' is a service that widely promotes artists' new albums through exclusive content from Melon and large LED screens broadcasting K-pop live at Samseong Station.
