JYP Entertainment's next-generation boy group KickFlip is emerging as a ‘K-Pop Super Rookie’ with a fashionable flair.

On the 20th, JYP's rookie group KickFlip made their debut in the music industry with their first mini album ‘Flip it, Kick it!’ and the title track ‘Mama Said (What Are You Going to Be?).’

They have shown a remarkable global momentum, achieving the top spot on the daily album charts of Hanteo Chart and Circle Chart as of the 20th, and reaching the top of the Korean chart on the Chinese music platform Kugou Music as of the 21st. The music video for their debut song ‘Mama Said (What Are You Going to Be?)’ surpassed 10 million views on YouTube on the morning of the 23rd, gaining popularity.

Interest in KickFlip is also heating up in the fashion world. On the 22nd, fashion magazines Dazed Korea and Vogue Korea showcased KickFlip content on their official SNS channels and websites, capturing attention. In particular, the members' chic gazes and cool charisma in the Vogue photoshoot are igniting fan enthusiasm. The Dazed photoshoot will be released on the 31st on Dazed's official Instagram, web, and Twitter.

KickFlip consists of seven members, led by Kye-hun, who ranked first in the JYP public audition in 2016 and has spent 10 years as a JYP trainee, along with Amaru, Dong-hwa, Joo-wang, Min-je, K-Joo, and Dong-hyun, each attracting global fans with their unique charms and personalities. They have showcased KickFlip's energetic vibe through their debut album ‘Flip it, Kick it!’ and continue to demonstrate their versatility with trendy and photogenic appearances in photoshoots.

Meanwhile, the debut song ‘Mama Said (What Are You Going to Be?)’, which Amaru participated in writing, humorously conveys the message of ‘not caring about the usual nagging and going my own way.’ The catchy melody and lyrics that cheerfully and refreshingly respond to unwanted nagging resonate with listeners.
