Singer Ali's first performance of her 20th anniversary solo concert will be held in Cheongju.
According to her agency on the 9th, Ali will hold her solo concert 'Yongjin (勇進)' at the Cheongju Arts Center Grand Hall on February 22 at 6 PM, meeting with the audience. This concert is held to celebrate Ali's 20-year music career, and the title symbolizes her steadfast musical journey, incorporating her real name 'Jo Yong-jin' with the meanings of 'brave' (勇) and 'to advance' (進).
In particular, this Cheongju performance will be Ali's first concert for her 20th anniversary, as the Gwangju concert originally scheduled for December 31 was inevitably postponed due to the national mourning period following the Jeju Air tragedy. On the day of the scheduled Gwangju concert, Ali visited the Gwangju Joint Memorial Hall to participate in deep mourning.
Starting in Cheongju, this tour will feature a diverse selection of songs, including her representative hits '365 Days' and 'Eraser', as well as unreleased new songs and special arrangement stages, providing fans with unique emotions and special memories.
Ali stated, "I delivered disappointing news to fans who were looking forward to the Gwangju concert, but I was given more time to prepare for the Cheongju performance. I will showcase my music and passion on a more complete stage. I ask for your unwavering support."
Over the past 20 years, Ali has captivated the public with her unique voice and emotions, showcasing a wide musical spectrum. Many are looking forward to experiencing Ali's sincere story, which she has walked with passion and dedication, directly on stage.
