Song Min-ho of the group WINNER is embroiled in allegations of inadequate social service work, while some of his superiors and agency officials have refused to answer questions.

On the 27th, SBS's current affairs program 'Curious Story Y' aired testimonies from employees of the facility management corporation and community benefit facilities in Mapo-gu, Seoul, where Song Min-ho served his social service.

After receiving basic military training in March last year, Song Min-ho was assigned to the Mapo Facility Management Corporation for social service and later transferred to the Mapo Community Benefit Facility. Amid reports that he did not perform his duties properly, interest grew regarding his discharge status. Nevertheless, it was reported that Song Min-ho was discharged normally on the 23rd.

A person identified as A, who worked with Song Min-ho at the facility management corporation, claimed, "He avoided phone duties because he didn't want his name to be revealed. He also avoided facing the public because they would recognize him. He only went to the post office once at the beginning."

B, an official from the community benefit facility, revealed, "There must have been some coordination. In most companies, when someone comes to ask, they are told how to respond. They need to provide a consistent manual. They say, 'If someone comes to ask, tell them that the CCTV is being reviewed and that an investigation is ongoing.'"

The production team of 'Curious Story Y' visited the Mapo Community Benefit Facility to find B, who is Song Min-ho's superior and director, but he has been absent since the allegations of inadequate service arose. C, who later communicated via phone, stated, "If I say something wrong or if this goes poorly, it seems there are aspects that could negatively affect (Song) Min-ho," thus avoiding a specific stance.

The production team also directly visited the corporation and asked officials, "Did (Song Min-ho) come to work properly?" but received only the response, "It's ongoing, so I'm cautious." When the team pressed, "Isn't it a simple issue? Did he come to work or not?" the official repeated the same cautious response, focusing on managing the situation.

On the 23rd, the Military Manpower Administration requested a police investigation regarding the allegations of Song Min-ho's inadequate service. It is reported that the administration plans to revoke his discharge based on the police investigation results and require him to serve again for the duration of his inadequate service. Subsequently, the Mapo Police Station has charged Song Min-ho with violations of the Military Service Act.

On the 27th, police conducted a search of the Mapo Community Benefit Facility. It is reported that they secured closed-circuit television (CCTV) footage from the workplace.
