As fans continue to miss him, it marks the 7th anniversary of the passing of SHINee member late Jonghyun (real name Kim Jong-hyun).

On the 18th, SM Entertainment posted a photo on SHINee's official channel with the message, "We will always love you." Fans visited the account to pay their respects.

Jonghyun passed away on December 18, 2017, at the age of 27.

He debuted as the main vocalist of SHINee in 2008 and gained global popularity with numerous hit songs such as "Noona, You're So Pretty," "Like Oxygen," "Ring Ding Dong," and "Lucifer."

In addition to being a vocalist, he was also active in songwriting and composing. He participated in writing and composing many songs, including SHINee's "Juliet," IU's "Depressing Clock," Taemin's "Pretty Boy," and Lee Hi's "Breathe."

After Jonghyun's passing, his family established a non-profit public interest corporation called "Shining" in 2018, which supports the growth of artists dedicated to cultural and artistic activities based on the royalties Jonghyun left behind.
