Choi Min-sik and Han So-hee are coming together. Through the Korean version of the movie 'The Intern'.
According to Warner Bros. Korea LLC on the 29th, the film 'The Intern' has confirmed the casting of Choi Min-sik, Han So-hee, Kim Geum-soon, Kim Jun-han, Ryu Hye-young, Kim Yo-han, and Park Ye-ni, and will start filming today.
'The Intern' tells the story of 'Seon-woo' (Han So-hee), the passionate CEO of a fashion company, who hires 'Gi-ho' (Choi Min-sik), a silver intern with rich life experience. It is a remake of the 2015 film 'The Intern', which was a global hit, adapted to fit Korean sensibilities and the changes of the times.
Director Kim Do-young, who gained recognition for his delicate directing in 'Kim Ji-young: Born 1982', will take the helm, raising expectations.
The renowned actor Choi Min-sik plays the role of 'Gi-ho', who takes a job as a silver intern for a second act in life after retirement, while Han So-hee plays the CEO of the fashion company Woo22, which achieved rapid sales of 10 billion.
Kim Geum-soon will play 'Hee-sook', who runs Woo22's cafeteria, and Kim Jun-han will join as 'Young-hwan', the vice president of Woo22, adding richness to the story.
Additionally, Ryu Hye-young will play 'Min-a', the team leader of management support and 'Gi-ho's' mentor, Kim Yo-han will play 'Joo-seong', a fellow intern, and Park Ye-ni will join as 'Yoo-jin', an MD, completing the solid lineup of 'The Intern'.
