Lee Byung-hun and Son Ye-jin shared their thoughts on working together as a couple in 'Can't Help It'.
On the afternoon of the 22nd, a screening and press conference for the movie 'Can't Help It' was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul. Director Park Chan-wook and actors Lee Byung-hun, Son Ye-jin, Park Hee-soon, Lee Sung-min, and Yim Hye-ran attended.
Lee Byung-hun said, "I am close with Son Ye-jin as a couple, and since we have seen each other often, there was no distance between us. While acting together, I thought, 'As expected, it's Son Ye-jin.' Since it was our first time acting together, I was surprised many times. I was amazed at how she doesn't miss the emotions she needs to express and finds them."
Son Ye-jin commented, "I had to act as a very natural married couple with Lee Byung-hun, and what surprised me the most was how he acted so flexibly without putting in any effort."
She added, "I played golf a few times before, and back then, I was putting in a lot of effort, thinking I might be sore when I got home. He was so excellent that I wondered if he had no strength while acting because he was putting in so much effort while playing golf."
'Can't Help It' tells the story of a company employee, Man-soo (Lee Byung-hun), who feels satisfied with life to the point of thinking 'I've achieved everything,' but suddenly gets fired. To protect his wife and two children and to keep the house he worked hard to acquire, he prepares for his own war towards re-employment. The film will be released on the 24th.
