The recent status of former BIGBANG member Seungri (real name Lee Seung-hyun) has been revealed.

Recently, photos of Seungri taken with a businessman were shared on online communities and social media.

In the photo, Seungri caught attention with a noticeably fuller appearance compared to his active days.

The person accompanying him is reported to be a businessman operating a jewelry brand in Malaysia, along with acquaintances. This has led to speculation that Seungri might be venturing into business in Malaysia.

Seungri became a central figure in the so-called 'Burning Sun' scandal that erupted in November 2018, after which he announced his retirement from the entertainment industry following his departure from the group.

Seungri was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison on a total of 9 charges, including violations of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes, habitual gambling, violations of the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act, violations of the Food Sanitation Act, and embezzlement in the course of business. He was released after completing his sentence at the Yeongju Correctional Institution in February 2023.

Even after his release, Seungri's recent activities continued to attract attention. In January of last year, while attending an event in Cambodia, he sparked controversy by stating, "I will bring G-Dragon here someday."

There have also been sightings of him domestically; in March, a post was shared online claiming he was seen dining with a woman at a restaurant in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

The author of the post explained, "Everyone knew it was Seungri but pretended not to. However, the lady at the restaurant loudly asked him to sign something on a big piece of paper," adding, "Seungri took two bites and got up."
